SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH UPDATE- September 9, 2025
Brookfield Public School’s search consultants from School Leadership LLC are leading us through the search for our permanent Superintendent of Schools. They have conducted well over one hundred successful superintendent searches (as well as other administrative searches) in the greater Connecticut, New York and New Jersey region, and have vast experiences as superintendents and board members at both the local district and regional levels. School Leadership has developed an excellent network of national contacts and an awareness of many of the very best candidates currently seeking new positions. School Leadership uses a variety of strategies to recruit qualified candidates with outstanding reputations and feel conversations with teachers, staff, administrators, parents and students are key to learning what is important to a district. Rina Beder and Roy Montesano will be in Brookfield Sept 17-19th to lead these conversations and forums. The purpose of the community forums and survey is to help develop a Specification Report which will outline the qualities and skills desired in the next Superintendent of BPS. This report will guide School Leadership and the Search Committee and the Board of Education in interviewing and evaluating potential candidates.
