The Brookfield Public Schools Technology Department oversees all technology operations for our 500+ staff members and 2600+ students.  The Technology Department plays a crucial role in the reliable, safe, and secure functioning and integration of technology into the educational environment.  Important responsibilities of the Technology Department include:

  • Providing technical support to staff and students
  • Managing, maintaining, and supporting the district’s infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking resources
  • Designing and implementing technology plans and strategies that align with the schools educational goals and strategic plans. 
  • Ensuring the security, safety, and privacy of the district’s various data and systems
  • Providing regular, ongoing training and resources to teachers and staff to help them effectively use technology in and out of the classroom
  • Promoting responsible and ethical use of technology among students
